Ahead of Brexit, in 2009, Simpex welcomed Samphire Cargo (recently re-named Samphire Customs) to our group of companies. Samphire is an AEO-approved customs clearance agent with offices in Dover and Lesquin, France, giving us in-house customs expertise on both sides of the Channel.

Our teams can handle a wide range of customs requirements including EAD, Regime 42, T1, and ATA Carnet documentation, among others. This allows us to provide a seamless transport and clearance service, ensuring compliance and efficiency for all import and export movements.

Typically, a commercial invoice, packing list, EORI number, and commodity codes. Our customs team are on hand to help with any questions you may have.

Express transit times depend on collection address, customs clearance, vehicle type and distance.  We will always provide the fastest available route for every shipment.

Our dedicated express delivery times are usually:

• Within 24 hours: Belgium, France, Germany, Ireland, Netherlands, Scotland
• Within 48 hours: Austria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Northern Italy, Poland, Spain, Switzerland
• Within 72 hours: Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Southern Italy, Sweden

Contact our team hello@simpex.co.uk or call 0121 782 4444 with your shipment details (pickup, delivery, no of pieces/weight/dimensions). We’ll provide an immediate quote and arrange transport straight away, if needed.

We have a wide range of express vehicles depending on the size and weight of your shipment. For small, urgent consignments, we provide small vans (approx. 140 x 100 x 100 cm) with a typical payload of up to 500 kg, Sprinter vans (approx. 420 x 170 x 175 cm) with payloads up to 1,100 kg or Luton vans (approx. 420 x 210 x 220 cm) with payloads around 1,000 kg.

We also use 7.5 tonne, 12 tonne and 18 tonne vehicles, as well as full articulated trailers for heavier or larger freight. Specialist vehicles are available, including tail-lift and pallet truck equipped vehicles, ADR/hazardous transport and temperature-controlled options.

We simply match the vehicle to the shipment to make sure you get the most efficient and cost-effective solution.

For our express service, we collect to and from the majority of Europe.
